MILDA supports the Pacific Blue Line’s call for a “total ban on DSM within our territorial waters and in areas beyond national jurisdiction.”

We assert the customary land and sea systems are the basis of life and community in Melanesia.

We are opposed to any form of experimental seabed resource extraction (including exploration activities) from our seas.
